The passion for all things quilting began when Brenda was in the fourth
grade, working on a class quilt. Each student made and hand-quilted their own
block then assembled the quilt. This quilt remained on display in her elementary
school office for many years. That was it, she was hooked!! She also holds fond
memories of visiting her grandfather and grandmother on their farm in a place
called Buttermilk Ridge, Tennessee. She never forgot the comfort received while
being wrapped up in a quilt at nap time! She began quilting herself and has
enjoyed it ever since.
Brenda launched her machine quilting business after working as a full-time
real estate professional and quilting in her "down-time". As an
ongoing effort to perfect her skills in this profession, she takes as many
classes as possible. Mainly those instructed by some of today’s most respected
names in the longarm and quilting industry. She believes that she should never
stop striving to learn new techniques or cease to broaden her quilting horizons.
Brenda feels that there is no better way to allow for the
release of her passion than the art of quilting. She
moved to the Missoula, Montana area in 2006 and continues her quilting
from her new location, between the beautiful Bitterroot & Sapphire
mountain ranges.
