Shipping Your Quilt

When shipping a quilt, never mark the box it is shipped in with the word "quilt". It is common knowledge in this industry that thefts have occurred as a result of such labeling, although never personally in my business. When shipping to me, I request that you address it to "Q Designs" or use my personal name. We really can’t be too careful when handling such special merchandise. Do not forget to include your Order Form when sending or bringing in a quilt. Call to confirm the scheduling of your quilt before you ship it to me.

I will measure your top, backing & batting if supplied, checking for loose threads and seams. Select the thread(s) and design(s) then contact you with the entire cost of service to be provided. You will also be given a return date at that time. Your quilt will be neatly folded and hung with a protective covering away from sunlight until it is serviced. I will pay for the return shipping of your quilt via one of the following; USPS, UPS or FedEx, insured for the amount of $100 unless you specify a higher insured amount.

Your quilt will be returned to you after full payment for services rendered is received by me. A $50 deposit fee is required with each quilt that is to be serviced. One payment option is by check or money order made payable to "Classic Quilting & Designs". Classic Quilting & Designs proudly works online through the secure services of PayPal to provide you with a credit card payment option. Using PayPal your payment is processed quickly, providing a faster return of your quilt.  Select the link on this website to utilize this service.

Classic Quilting & Designs reserves the right to refuse certain brands/types of batting and will return inferior batting to you. You will be notified in the event that this should happen, and be given a choice of battings from which to select. Classic Quilting & Designs also reserves the right to refuse to service a quilt top that may be received in a damaged condition. Damaged tops will be returned after you are contacted to discuss the condition of the top received.
